Sloppy Joes
Ingredients:
Sloppy Joes
· 3 lb. ground beef
· Ketchup
· Brown sugar
· Worcestershire sauce
· Garlic powder (optional)
· Frozen chopped onions (optional)
· A1 sauce (optional)
Potatoes
· Bag potatoes, thinly sliced
· Butter
· Salt
· Pepper
· Seasoned salt
· Garlic powder
· Onions, chopped (optional)
Preparation:
For the sloppy joes, brown ground beef in pan. Drain if necessary. Add in about ½ bottle ketchup and stir. Add in 1-2 cups brown sugar and 1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce and stir. If desired, stir in 2 tbsp. A1 sauce, 1 tsp. garlic powder and 1/3 cup chopped onions. Stir until all ingredients are mixed in well; keep warm until serving.
For the potatoes, thinly slice potatoes and set aside. Lay out a few medium-sized pieces of aluminum foil. Lightly prinkle foil with salt, pepper, seasoned salt, and garlic powder. Layer potatoes and onions, if desired, placing sliced of butter between each layer. Sprinkle top with salt, pepper, seasoned salt, and garlic powder. Fold edges of aluminum foil over potatoes; wrap in another piece of foil to create a packet. Repeat until all potatoes are used. Heat on grill or in oven on 400° for about 20 minutes.
