Shepherd’s Pie
Ingredients:
· 3 lbs. ground beef
· 3 jars beef gravy
· 1 small bag frozen mixed veggies
· 1 large box mashed potatoes
· 1 bag shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Brown ground beef in pan with onion and garlic powder, then drain. Stir in clove, thyme leaves, salt and pepper. Add gravy and vegetables and bring mixture to a boil. Put into oven-safe pan. Prepare mashed potatoes according to directions on package, stirring in ¼ cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Place potatoes around edge of pan over meat mixture. Bake 25-30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Remove from oven and sprinkle ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese over potatoes; let stand 5 minutes before serving.
